LAZY OAF X RAGGED PRIEST

Ohhh maaa life. On hearing the news that two of my favourite fun brands were collaborating, i got ridiculously excited awaiting the creations that are too come fro Lazy Oaf and Ragged Priest collaborating. Im loving the promotions and advertising that has been released before the collection launch party, which is in actual fact is today! Im so glad both creative parties have come together; i must must must visit the lazy oaf store!

Ragged Priest have handed over their iconic MOM jeans over for Lazy Oaf to let loose on, including illustration, through badges and other artwork designs and pieces! Both brand maybe a little pricey for my student bank balance, and its not very week i invest into both brands collections, but their promotions and tone of voice used when presenting themselves is something i love!

''Those highwaist hellraisers have been one of our faves for years, so we figured its about time we apply our cartoon prints to their so nineties silhouette…the mom jean. Look out for cats, pizza, bears and banana motifs … yep we’re getting emojional.'' - lazyoaf.com

Fifth Wall Photography Exhibition

This was my favourite piece from the NTU graduate show entitled 'Fifth Wall' which was displayed around the city of Nottingham, some within university campus, some were in Cobden Chambers, an artsy location made up of independent stores, this is also where Ideas on paper can be found!

This was my absolute favourite collection of images based on grief, death & someone passing. Images were made of some broken flowers place beautifully to represent the concept, cut up fruit & frozen flowers melting, also adhered to this concept, it was so Beautifully portrayed, with a pastel tone running throughout, it looked innocent and when you explore and read further i found it really moving. I always appreciate and love work i have a personally connection with, a collection of images i would invest my money into. Just Lovely.
