INDULGENCE; Brown Short Film

INDULGENCE: A series of stills from our short film project based on the colour brown. Initially researching the colour brown we struggled in progressing to an idea as part of our creative concept. Looking into the theme of therapy and indulgence, we discovered brown is often a colour connoted with indulgence, often within promotional imagery for Spa's. This lead onto things were associate with indulgence, surrounding the colour brown. Food; chocolate, cola, cake, sweets. 

This is a quick small project in order to practise skills and techniques in preparation for our fashion film project that follows on the return after our Easter break. Editing is underway and I'm exciting to see our sickly, sticky and sweet final short film.

A selection of mood board we prepared for shoot day! These are important for the model, directors and also the stylist, as a reminder of the tone of voice in which we want our model to portray as well as all the physical aesthetics, that are involved within the running order. All in preparation for our short fashion film project, in which we were given the colour 'Brown' to base our film on: developing this further we have looked at the colour brown as and Indulgence colour, which a fun and sweet tone of voice, our innocent model indulgences on film.
