Futuristic Forward Thinking

As my colour palette ideas have progressed, Manish Arora is the key designer whose existing creations from SS15 collection that i believe perfectly suit my colour selection that makes up my colour palette. Manish uses lots of embellishment within his pieces and uses beautiful metallic, high shine materials, revealing this luxurious quality materials, combined with a holographic shoe that was consistently worn by all models in this particular show.

Predicting a future trend from an existing colour palette is my intention of my mood board. The colour palette expressed on my mood board needs to relate directly to a brand or designer. I want to take this existing collection and develop it in ways in which i believe with be a popular future trends. After focusing on metallics it has come to my attention that the holographic material is a really current trend that i kept leading back too. The tones and shades that make up my pastel colour palette have all been selected from initial metallic/holographic image. Focusing on the idea of 'Futuristic Placid Pastels' this will inspire my mood board.

Manish Arora is a designer who was born and raised in India, in association with colour & embellishment i believe you can explicitly see evidence of this in his collections. India is renown for astonishing architecture and pattern design; i want to collaborate this idea into my mood board and consider that Manish's next collection should be inspired by these exquisite patterns, ornate details and futuristic architecture combined with my holographic pastel palette.

On this note, i will visit India one day, this is one on the bucket list! With Love, DOAFSDO, x
