Objects of Desire

The concept behind today brief is 'Object of Desire' now we could interpret this in anyway we wish. It could be an item we personally believe is desirable, or an item that has been presented as being derivable or juxtaposing the idea. Take it as we are and we had two days to come back with our own image considering this.. here are a few examples that i believe successfully adhere to this objective!

The narna is bloody great, the sparklier the better! I want 5 of these a day… PLEASE!

As a seminar class we all pinned our individual images on a line and analysising everyones work we were asked to pick our favourite image considering - Idea, Colour and Composition. Now thanks to my seminar class the girls voted that they liked my image the most for Idea which gave me a little encouragement. I explained that i have heard many recent stories in the news of young adults dying from drug use. Within todays society drugs are a things of desire, there is a consent need for something that is illegal, people will pay so much money for drugs and it makes me so sad that it has cost some people the most expensive price- life. Considering this concept i thought i would replace the 'idea' of drugs with something much more beautiful.. Glitter! As far as props go the bag was obviously from a spare button that came with my coat, my PINK driving licence and a £5 note of course because I'm a student and can't be balling with red ones these days...

With a little colour editing on photoshop this was my final 'Object of Desire' image!

You can never have too much glitter! With Love, DOAFSDO, x
