I am back in the shire as of yesterday! Home for Christmas. Literally where has this first semester gone? It's been mental.
I caught up with Mummy Newton over some lunch today and we got our nails done, which is me trying to pretend that I'm not a student over this next month of christmas festivities! During the day we popped into a couple of shops in little old town Banbury. Parsons street is home to a fair few boutique stores in Banbury which are fab! Along with cute little restaurants and my absolute fav bar in Banners with the most divine interior, Also Known As (although I am abit biased as I used to love working there & the crazy arty couple that run the joint are also lovely friends!) giving that parsons street is good hotspot for weekend chilling. Not to mention the charity shops! It's full of them; you'll often find me scouting around for vintage treasures here! This week I spotted this long trench. The attention to detail on this piece is amazing, the old heritage brown buttons, tartan lining inside- which is also detachable matches the buttons holes perfectly too! A feature that I've never seen before, was a scarf thats pattern matched the lining and was draped over and through the shoulder loops of the trench which I loved!
Priced at a crazy £13.99 I was never going to say no. The fab thing with charity shops is that I never feel guilty buying things because i know the proceeds always go to a good cause. Although walking into any shop and buying twenty things instead of one really doesn't help my bank balance!
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend! With Love, DOAFSDO, x
