The morning could not have started more perfectly and although it was very cold the sun was shining! We ventured down to the end of Manhattan to get onto the skyline- an old train line that ran above the streets of New York but has now been converted into a high rise pathway running through the busy streets. The sky was so clear, pretty and bright making exploring along the high line a treasure and something ill remember always. Graffiti and typography wall art along the way brought back the reality of this beautiful park situated through downtown Manhattan in NYC!
New York Highline Snap!
Chelsea was our destination to reach from the high line; reknown for the quirky art and food market. Many independent craft artists displayed their work in Chelsea market, from various vintage items, to graphic designs printing work on canvas pouches etc. It was interesting to find out from various artists where they started and top locations to visit in New York. One lovely ladies told us directions for a thrift store we later visited in the day, this was an absolute treasure! After Chelsea we headed towards Soho, on the way we found and explored many hideaway boutiques on our way! Maison Martin Margeila, recently shortened to just Masion Margelia, was a massive highlight; where in which i fell in love. Not with a human of course but shoes. Holographic, disco heeled boots, pastel pink. My life.
