What a beaut little weekend to be spent back in Nottingham. Catch ups and exploring places we haven't yet had time to do. Looking at perfume advertisements for our next module we were hunting down a few independent fashion magazines to add to the forever on growing collections. We visited 'Ideas on Paper' which is located in Cobden Cambers just off of the lace market. This was an adorable little hideaway and the first time I've visited IOP, the gentleman who owns the store was also really helpful and was happy for us to have a browse and flip through various magazines.
In Cobden Chambers the pastel painted walls were adorable, it felt like id just walked down a little side street in Salcombe or a shabby chic hideaway you'd find in Devon or Cornwall. I got Tara right in there matching with her pastel coat; what a colour palette!
Attention to detail even the bin was painted! This shirt is one of my favourtiest items at the moment, purchased from H&M in Times Square, New York, I'm happy i haven't spotted it in an English H&M store yet, but Shhh! It literally a chiffon black see through shirt that carries on so its super long and from the thigh down its divided into panels; feeling like some sort of superhero as it trails behind in the wind, its the comfiest chilled shirt ever!
"Don't let the bed bugs bite!'
People watching in the nicest little cafe in the Lace Market. Hartleys sells the worlds nicest smoothies, which made a super nice change from coffee, considering the amount i consume at Uni.
Finally, i am a little bit blonder! Long awaited but when i popped home during reading week i got my hair did, which has been long overdue. I am blonde again! Because its been done so well it looks really natural but I'm comparison to how dark the roots were it was much needed, a little bit of violet shampoo here and there to lighten it up will also work wonders- credit to Jess Cooper! :)
Happy Weekend. With Love, DOAFSDO, x
